See All ReviewsI am not a fan of gas station restaurants normally. I’m from Chicago and appreciate good Mexican food. I ate at a lot of Mexican restaurants while in Texas. Mostly they taste Texan- less Mexican. I was surprised by the flavor. It was like a legit taqueria. We were so hungry and wanted some legit food because we were maxed out on drive thru burgers and chicken. 5 stars because it is legit. A huge pile of cilantro next to the griddle, Mexican radio station in the background, REAL horchata. Don’t understand the other reviews about language barriers, the girls spoke English perfectly fine. I ordered the three taco dinner, my wife had two Gordita’s and my daughter had quesadillas. Everything was great. I’m it saying this was the BEST Mexican restaurant I ever had, but dang, it was unexpectedly great considering we were kind is in the middle of the country. Empty plate says it all haha
Good breakfast tacos! ( if you’re picky about them, they won’t disappoint) not too greasy, real flavor.
I asked for scramble eggs w cheese and I chose meat on the side. This is what they gave me. It was $6.99 w tax. Obviously a language barrier. I'm very annoyed and I'm not going back inside to try to make them fix it. Too much of a headache.
